But when God sends Holy Spirit, His Holiness, the One like Me who sets you free, He will teach you all things in My name. And He will inspire you to remember every word that I’ve told you.  John 14:26 TPT

That’s a pretty big deal, if you ask me, because I desperately need that help. I need His still, small voice to illuminate the truth, to guide and encourage me, and to give me His insight about various people and situations. I’m sure you do, too. And when we invite Holy Spirit to work and move in our life, He’ll reveal truth to us in amazing ways - often correcting humbling ways but the cracking and stretching produces  a repenting heart that will be open to receive Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit dwelled within Jesus so He could accomplish every assignment given Him. For us to truly be Christ’s followers and demonstrate the same works He did—and even greater works (John 14:12) —we get to be empowered by the same Spirit. And we must receive Him! Our lives depend upon it!

It is impossible for us to walk in the same anointing Jesus had without it.

This is why Jesus insisted that the disciples not leave Jerusalem until they had received Holy Spirit as promised …..

Acts 1:4-5 NIV On one occasion, while He was eating with them, He gave them this command: Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift My Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with Holy Spirit.

Only after Holy Spirit poured over them would they receive dunamis power to take the gospel “to the ends of the earth” ……

Acts 1:8 NLT But you will receive power when Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be My witnesses, telling people about Me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Just as God gave the gift of Himself throughHoly Spirit to Jesus Christ and Jesus’ disciples, the Lord wants to give Himself to us.

Grab a hold of that truth my friends! It’s part of the intricate salvation story!  God knows exactly what He’s doing and gives us Holy Spirit to “grow us up” in God.

It’s the same sort of thing as What we delight in we pursue and invest in. That’s God! He delights in His people! The Creator of creation - desires relationship with us and wants to speak to us, with us! Whoa! to sing with us to hear us sing to Him, to hold us in our grief and to cheer with us in the joy.

Holy Spirit’s invitation to us is that we come, that we seek Him, and that we listen to Him.

God’s words are personal, they are loving, they are life giving and they are satisfying to our soul. I choose to live a life of surrender.

Do you know how deeply loved you are by God? So often we talk about the beautiful exchange Jesus made on the cross, but rarely do we take the time to experience His resurrection power in our day-to-day  lives.

Jesus came so that we could receive salvation-- but even more, He came to give us access to an authentic, vibrant relationship with God. This relationship is the only one WHO can exchange our brokenness for blessings.

Holy Spirit come, we love You we trust You!
