An Ongoing Prayer

If I shut the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the grasshopper to consume the land, or if I send pestilence on My people, and My people, who bear My name, humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. My eyes will now be open and My ears attentive to prayer from this place.  2 Chronicles 7:13-15 CSB

The enemy’s goal is to deceive us, to offer us an inferior product in hopes that we will be ok settling for it.  But in these days of global chaos and death Jesus continuously speaks and we GET to hear Him.     

We used to buy a lot of our iPhone chargers for cheap and they would break instantly. Have you ever been deceived? I learned my lesson that just because it looks like a legit charger, does not mean it can compete with the real thing. 

The enemy is going to try and sneak it’s lies into our lives. And it will do it “secretly.”  He’s not going to march into our lives going, “here’s today’s lie! I hope you enjoy it.”  

It will be wrapped up in all sorts of ways, mixing in scripture taken out of context, using words that sound super Christian, and other things too. It’s whole goal is to draw us away from the truth of God’s Word.  

That is a huge reason to read the Bible every day! To be in conversation with God, to be in prayer with Him, to hear Holy Spirit’s wisdom, correction and guidance every day.
