Speak God’s Life

If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is worthless.  James 1:26 NET

Ask Holy Spirit to guide your days with His wisdom. Ask for wisdom. Ask for the right words to speak in any interaction with another. Yes ! Speak life. 

My friends let our attitudes reflect our faith because our attitude will be either an asset, or a liability. There is no in-between. The attitude that we hold towards our marriages, our friendships, our school work, chores, careers or difficult times will play either a positive or negative role in our lives.

We don’t need to necessarily voice our opinions or frustrations either for them to be felt. 

Ephesians 4:29 NET You must let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but only what is beneficial for the building up of the one in need, that it may give grace to those who hear.

So begin today, right now, to speak life, showing hope for better days. To speak positivity into the lives around us while going through turmoil is to say that our God and our faith are stronger than any issues and any circumstances. Against all odds, against all issues and worries, faith must persevere.  

If we can speak God’s life when the world is shouting death, then we will make it through. And we will bring glory to the Lord’s kingdom. Yes! Amen!
