When Daniel realized that a written decree had been issued, he entered his home, where the windows in his upper room opened toward Jerusalem. Three times daily he was offering prayers and thanks to his God just as he had been accustomed to do previously. Daniel 6:10 NET

The enemy might whisper, “This evil day will not end; You’re a failure, nothing ever works out.” But because of Jesus we get to respond by saying: “in the name of Jesus Christ away liar! In the name of Jesus you were defeated on the cross and on this day, I will stand strong in my position as a child of God and withstand your opposition with His light.”

Actually- Try repeating it! many times Ive prayed something like that and by the grace of God’s mercy the next morning everything is new and different with His eternal perspective not my “whats the next 5 steps in front of me” perspective.

The enemy’s strategy is to use the hard days to turn us into a dark person, to turn our eyes off God, to forever sever our allegiance to Jesus. But God gives us a solution: His armour. It will limit how long that evil day lingers. When hardships and hard choices come- and they have and they will - don’t panic.

Proclaim Holy Spirit’s presence in your life over you even when you don’t feel like you’re righteous. Claim the truth of the Bible, God’s living Word, even when events your wading through appear to contradict it. Declare the peace of Jesus that surpasses all understanding when you feel confused.

Speak God’s Word, not your feelings.

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.  Lamentations 3:22-23

By faith stand in your position of victory.   Confess your salvation; eliminate the enemy’s condemnation while keeping your eyes fixed on Jesus, take your thoughts captive in the name of Jesus, use your voice to keep pouring forth praise and worship to Jesus.

2 Chronicles 20:14-19 NASB “Then in the midst of the assembly the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, the Levite of the sons of Asaph; and he said, “Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s. Tomorrow go down against them. Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the valley in front of the wilderness of Jeruel. You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out to face them, for the Lord is with you.” Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the Lord, worshiping the Lord. The Levites, from the sons of the Kohathites and of the sons of the Korahites, stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel, with a very loud voice.”

Wow! Thank You Lord for the Bible! King Jehoshaphat leads the nation to seek the Lord, and God speaks, the Lord promises complete victory. The nation of God responds and humbles itself, pretty much calls the worship team to the front of the line, and heads out to meet the assaulting army.

Pure and simple, the enemy is absolutely defeated. Better than defeated. The enemy turns inward and annihilates itself.  We must remind ourselves of this truth when we are engaged in spiritual warfare over situations, with individuals, within communities and nations. Worship is our battle cry.

Worship is the standard we raise to face our adversaries (Isaiah 59:19).

When we worship God, sing to Jesus Christ, call upon the Name above all names and genuinely let Holy Spirit filled adoration arise from our being, demons are stopped.  Truly.
