Revelation 19:11-16 NASB And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND Lord OF LORDS.
We can have information and not have the truth. We can have emotions and not be responding to the truth. If you and I want to partake in the Lord’s victory in this spiritual war, that means we have to identify the issue—the subject at hand, the attack that we are experiencing, the evil day that seems to be coming against us. Then we’re going to have to rush to Jesus Christ and find out what God says about that matter. Many times in our spiritual war, we get everybody else’s input on a matter, including our jaded view. We may even have the facts, but we can have the facts and still not know the truth. If we want to claim Jesus Christs victory in our physical and spiritual life, we are going to have to put on the robe of God’s righteousness, relentlessly wear the armour of God, and reside with God’s truth. Jesus teaches in John 8:32, only the truth can set you free, Jesus Christ is the truth. Walk with that kind of faith.
Psalm 24:1 KJV The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein.
Because of our sin, man resides in a broken world where we have to deal with and face uncertainty, And in spite of trying to be intentional about avoiding the bad news that seems to overflow from the various firms of media - we can hardly escape the gloomy realities of these uncertain times. Could it be we have gotten all to used to quick answers and quick analyses resulting in many hearts become saturated with fear and anxiety.
Who is the remedy? JESUS CHRIST. Stand beside Jesus. Kneel before Jesus. Pray with Jesus. Be consistent with your time spent in His presence. He is here within us, behind us, before us, beside us, among us.
my friend, unexpected events roll us around, things we never saw coming. They can cause us to end up in a dark place, feeling confined and hopeless – in despair or depression.
These feelings might come from relationship break-ups, unemployment, money or health problems, a loved ones death. Sometimes we can’t even pinpoint anything… we just feel perpetually flat.
In those times we have to remember that the things happening around us are more spiritual than we realize. Spiritual armor is our daily dress code to help us stand in the “evil day.” A bad day can happen to anyone. It can begin with everything that can go wrong, going wrong.
And sometimes it might feel like you don't have the strength to move- that’s ok - Jesus Christ fights the battle, pray to Him, pray through each day, we are to trust the Lord with the outcome, rely on Jesus, be grafted to Christ the solid rock, entwined with Holy Spirit.
