Praise Lifts Us

For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness. But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by Holy Spirit and faith in the Truth.  2 Thessalonians 2:11-13 NASB

The world at this moment just seems to spiral more and more out of control - there’s a senes of being off kilter - Things that used appear to be true are no longer true, things that used to be wrong are now considered right, and whatever a person wants to believe is ok and no one can tell them it’s not.  

In 2 Thessalonians, Apostle Paul is warning us about the direction the world was and is headed in. There is an uprising of false teachings about God and influences that steer people away from Jesus are becoming louder than any other voices. 

Take heart though ! God doesn’t want us to fall into the enemy's traps, Holy Spirit teaches us how to avoid believing it’s lies. He also warns us to be ready for the return of Jesus! Thank You God for Your truth! Your reassuring promise!
