And when you heard the word of truth (the gospel of your salvation) – when you believed in Christ – you were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit, who is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.  Ephesians 1:13-14 NET

Salvation is free! God puts no price tag on the ultimate Gift —it’s free! The Lord covers us with His grace, that we might share His forgiveness, understanding and love, abundantly with those we encounter.  And remember we are not salesmen, for there is nothing to sell.

We are bearers of Good News—the Gospel, believing Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. Money can’t buy it. Our righteousness can’t earn it. Social prestige can’t help us acquire it. Moral living can’t purchase it.

God holds in His hand the priceless, precious, eternal offering of salvation, and He bids us to take it without money and without price. The best things in life are free, right? The air we breathe is not sold by the cubic foot. Joy is free, faith is free, hope is free.

By His amazing grace! Hallelujah!

Salvation by faith: it is so humbling. We admit that we cannot save ourselves or earn salvation. We cannot trust ourselves to be good enough or religious enough. Our only hope is to abandon self-trust and place our trust in the Savior.

Faith is the same as trust or belief. Faith is the humble trust by which we receive the grace of God. Faith is the empty hand of a beggar receiving a gift. It is not doing something, but receiving something.

This is God’s way, the only way. Salvation is given by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. If you have never done so, call out to Jesus, even now, to save you. He will hear that prayer and welcome you home.
