God Is Moving In

But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.  John 4:23-24 NASB

We have the freedom to worship God from wherever we are. Like right where you are sitting or standing! The time has come when the place doesn’t matter. We don’t have to wait to worship. God is seeking genuine people to worship Him in adoration with humble hearts. A people who will be themselves before God, letting our praise be present even in the face of adversity, even when reeling with grief. 

Let this be an encouragement today that the Lord is accessible to you NOW. Jump into His presence today. Come boldly. Come humbly. Thank Him for who He is and what He is doing. Holy Spirit’s PRESENCE inhabiting our PRAISE carries the power to change the atmosphere! Oh Holy Spirit we love You! Teach us the Gospel! We trust You! We ask for your wisdom, come dwell within. 

Romans 1:16-17 NET For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For the righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel from faith to faith, just as it is written, The righteous by faith will live.

Jesus Christ’s message is faith fuelled by God’s grace. It is salvation for all who believe in Him. It is mercy and compassion and forgiveness for all who would put their faith in Him. Jesus is the personification and the embodiment of grace. And then on top of the majesty that Jesus is He chooses us! Amazing grace!

In other words, Jesus Himself is the Gospel of salvation. He teaches us that no matter who we are or how badly we've messed up, grace, forgiveness and our salvation are available to all who believe in Jesus Christ as our risen Saviour. 

Acts 4:11-12 NET This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, that has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among people by which we must be saved. 

I think it’s an important teaching to remember that Jesus is constantly pruning us. He loves us so much that He constantly takes the initiative through Holy Spirit to remove from us what dead in sin so that we might blossom in the ways He loves.  Yes we are corrected, but we are redeemed, we are given the choice to repent and walk a new road alongside Jesus. Because the only way to eternal life, salvation, is through Jesus Christ. 

And when we step in stride with Jesus He invites us into the lives of others to be part of their salvation story, to be a steady presence in our communities, a friendly face in our neighbourhoods. 

Jesus told us to ask Him, seek after Him, knock on God’s door - These are words of action—actions we can all do for the glory of God’s kingdom, for the salvation of souls!

And we will be active as Holy Spirit prompts us to be because God intends His church to be a great multitude, a community of hope, revival, and supernatural power in the midst of the dark times in this world. People must turn to God for the answers only He can give, all who have sincerely given their hearts to Jesus Christ, need to be ready. I urge you  to live in God’s perfect will for your life, discern the times we are wading through  and seek Holy Spirit's wisdom, receive God’s planning and participate in His kingdoms purposes!
