Jesus, Be Our Light

Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.  James 1:17 TPT

God, we thank You that even in the darkest of nights, You sent Jesus to be our Light. It’s so easy to focus on the dark. It’s easy to give in to discouragement and let disappointment feed us. But with You, Holy Spirit, we have the help to open our eyes to see the Light, and give us the heart to follow hard after You. Yes Lord, we praise You because You’re faithful. Help us intentionally store up the moments when we see You fulfill Your promises so that when difficulty comes, our faith will remain strong. We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray deliverance, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
