So always be ready, alert, and prepared, because at an hour when you’re not expecting Him, the Son of Man will come. Matthew 24:44 TPT
Be ready and watching for My return.
This command of Jesus is both important and urgent. He calls for vigilance. He calls for faithfulness. He calls for consistency. Action. He warns against selfishness, laziness, complacency and distracting anxiety.
We are to live in a state of service to our King. It is not that we can thereby earn our salvation, but it is to honor God and bring Him the glory.
Christian’s, God’s people, His servants, are to constantly be about carrying out His instructions and His desires so we will be ready for His return at all times.
Romans 10:9 TPT And what is God’s “living message”? It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will experience salvation.
My friends, the Bible lays it all out for us. The Gospel is real. Because of Adam and Eve’s disobedience — (read the book of Genesis) mankind was born into sin.
And because of Jesus Christ’s obedience (read the books of Matthew Mark Luke John) — mankind was redeemed from the power of sin.
Through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ — all of us have the opportunity to be set free from the bondage and stronghold of sin. When we are in Christ, we are set free from the bondage and stronghold of Adam’s mistake.
It’s our choice. We can either choose to stay in the wilderness or we can choose to be set free in Christ. We can either stay in the cycle of sin or we can be set free through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ. Choose to be set free. Yes Lord we choose You!
Choose to be released from the paralytic impact of sin. Choose to let Christ heal you. Let Christ pour into every area of your life. Choose to let Christ make you whole. Choose Christ.
Jesus Christ conquered death, hell, and the grave — for mankind. He overcame every aspect of sin for us. There is no aspect of sin that Christ cannot deliver each one of us out of. There is no bondage that’s stronger than Christ. There is no stronghold that’s stronger than our Lord. There is no bondage that He cannot break. There is no struggle that’s too powerful for Him to crush.
Actually - Jesus is a best friend, the one who stands up for you when you can’t stand up for yourself - He inspires those who believe in Him to stand straight and tall - balanced on the edge of a chair not holding onto the back for safety but bravely reaching out for His hand - Salvation offered
On top of that Christ crushes every form of bondage, barrier, struggle, and generational cycle that we are trudging through in this life. Submit to Jesus Christ and lay every struggle at His feet. Strongholds have no authority over Him. Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord.
If you walk with Him, if you feel like you are watching Him walk away (He is not) or if you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, join me in this simple prayer:
God, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ. I thank You that He died and conquering death rose for again, I repent of my sin and I turn to You. Lord, I surrender every aspect of my heart over to You and receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Amen!
