Let my prayer be as the evening sacrifice that burns like fragrant incense, rising as my offering to You as I lift up my hands in surrendered worship!  Psalms 141:2 TPT

Holy Spirit thank You for the insight - the knowledge - that prayer and worship are woven together - We are designed to worship God. If we want to change our environment and our attitude, start praising God throughout the day. ALL DAY!  Praise His perfect character; His creative power; His inherent worth; His goodness; and everything about Him!

In as much as we have a living ongoing conversation with God in prayer, God inhabits the praises of His people.

Because praising God, even when we least feel like it, means the most to Him.

For many of us, worship has come to designate the Sunday morning service; however, simply being a spectator at this one service isn’t worship.

We must enter His presence, focused exclusively on Him, and wholeheartedly express our appreciation for all He is! Praise Him for creating and being in charge of the world; praise Him for loving us and redeeming us; my friends we will begin to see Holy Spirit grow the fruit of refreshed perspective and gratitude in our burdened hearts!

In prayer, the first thing God will want to talk to us about is often the last thing we want to talk to Him about— sin. If you don’t feel like praying today, it’s probably a good indication that you need to do just that.

Ask God to turn your heart back to Him.
