At the same time, pray also for us that God may open a door to us for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains, so that I may make it known as I should. Colossians 4:3-4 CSB
…prayer is the means through which we communicate with God. We don’t worship God because He needs it, but because we do. Prayer grants us the amazing opportunity to know and appreciate God for Who He is, and it positions us to receive countless blessings from His loving hand.
1 John 5:14-15 TPT Since we have this confidence, we can also have great boldness before Him, for if we ask anything agreeable to His will, He will hear us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we also know that we have obtained the requests we ask of Him.
The place of prayer is where you meet with God to be instructed, corrected, cleansed, loved, built up, and prepared to do His will. That place is with in us and around us. It could be a prayer meeting with others, a moment of prayer just you and God as you drive to work, wherever you are, because He is there.
The Bible teaches us that too- the absolute necessity of the ongoing waltz with God- no matter the Bible translation ……

Make your life a prayer.
God hears and answers our prayers within His will. We must constantly have intimacy, or abide, in Him in order to see life change. In this age of fast-paced distractions, it’s a gift from God to that we get to have simple or intricate conversations with Him. Just talk to Him authentically throughout your day!
Sometimes, prayer is about speaking; other times, it’s about listening. The third ingredient is the security that comes from sensing God’s smile of love and approval.
Amazing grace! Yes indeed Lord! What a gift prayer is! To grow this habit, have an open Bible; and ensure that you come to God with a listening heart. Don’t worry about “getting it right”—He already knows what we need!
When we step out in faith and follow Holy Spirit, you please Him. Don’t feel pressed to pray for a certain way, or for a certain length of time, or to focus on specific things because other people are doing so. Let the tide of Holy Spirit’s encouragement and wisdom take you wherever He wills.
Wow God! I Love You!
Our relationship with God in prayer is founded on His love, expressed through the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, and shown by us in thanksgiving and devotion. When we adore God, we turn our focus off of ourselves and towards Him.
When we worship Him sincerely, with truth, with song, out loud and in our hearts, the content of our prayers become scriptural, we can ask according to His will, and He hears us us!
Don’t be discouraged with God’s timing, because prayer involves an attitude of faith, persistence, and patience. And obedience. God always works in our best interest, His will be done, and when the Lord answers we must act on His word.
