Be well balanced and always alert, because your enemy, the devil, roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for its prey to devour.  1 Peter 5:8 TPT

In the Book of Revelation, it is referred to as our accuser; we’re told that he accuses us before God day and night. The enemy is crafty, and he knows that one of the best ways to kill, steal, and destroy our God-given potential is to create a commentary around our sin that keeps us in a perpetual mentality of unworthiness. It wants us to make our home in shame.

But my friends, you see, guilt is about what we’ve done, shame is about who we think we are. Many of us accept that God forgives us for what we’ve done but then still allow the enemy to accuse us and shut us down with lies about who we are inherently.

These lies paralyze us from embracing Jesus and walking out God’s purpose for His kingdom.

But by the very grace of Jesus Christ, we are called, required actually, to accept and use the gifts and talents God has given us to make a difference in this world, His world.

Therefore with Holy Spirit we can break free from the labels of shame and unworthiness, and step out boldly to fully accomplish what He created us to do.
