But when the truth-giving Spirit comes, He will unveil the reality of every truth within you. He won’t speak on His own, but only what He hears from the Father, and He will reveal prophetically to you what is to come. He will glorify Me on the earth, for He will receive from Me what is Mine and reveal it to you. John 16:13-14 TPT
It’s Holy Spirit who gives us the power to follow Jesus. He speaks to us about who Jesus is, what He has taught (John 14:26), convicts us of righteousness (John 16:8), and guides us to the truth (John 16:13).
Life will not always go smoothly, but we will always have God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit with us. As we learn who we are in Christ, Holy Spirit empowers us to live a life that is pleasing to God and reflects Jesus no matter the difficulties we face.
Oh, and you know those moments when you have so many feelings but don’t know what to say, keep in your heart Holy Spirit’s promise to help us in our weak moments, turning our groans and cries into prayers.
As Christians who have accepted Jesus Christ, we can can literally sense the presence of Holy Spirit in ourselves and in those we meet or already know, and as we grow in our faith we all learn to hear His comforting voice.
I have learned to especially appreciate the presence of the Helper when I go through difficult times of trial, discouragement, or struggle. Holy Spirit sustains me with supernatural strength and hope.
When I experience grief, Holy Spirit encourages me; when I am mistreated or persecuted, He gives me miraculous grace to endure; when I am accused or misunderstood, He fights my battle for me; when I make a mistake and want to kick myself, He lifts my head and mixes gentle correction with encouragement; when I am in despair, He reminds me of God’s promises. He wants to do the same for you! Amazing grace!
