O Lord my God, I cried to You for help, and You restored my health. Psalms 30:2 NLT

We may not even be able to muster the strength to pray for half an hour. Our prayers may be a pitiful series of short phrases such as, “Help me, God!” or “Jesus, Jesus”

But, according to the Bible, these kinds of prayers are powerful. All you have to do is read the psalms of King David to know that God hears prayers such as: “O Lord my God, I cried to you for help”

And what is so so comforting is that when we feel frustrated in prayer or don’t know what to say, Holy Spirit is praying at a deeper level inside us—and He knows what to pray! That my friends is the promise of Romans 8:26.

Romans 8:26 GNB In the same way Holy Spirit also comes to help us, weak as we are. For we do not know how we ought to pray; the Spirit Himself pleads with God for us in groans that words cannot express.

Many of us need reminding that we have Holy Spirit to help us travel the valley roads and mountain highways.

He prays with groanings too deep for words until faith gives birth to the answer from God we need, that we are waiting for.
