We Rest In You

Be well balanced and always alert, because your enemy, the devil, roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for its prey to devour. Take a decisive stand against him and resist his every attack with strong, vigorous faith. For you know that your believing brothers and sisters around the world are experiencing the same kinds of troubles you endure. And then, after your brief suffering, the God of all loving grace, who has called you to share in His eternal glory in Jesus Christ, will personally and powerfully restore you and make you stronger than ever. Yes, He will set you firmly in place and build you up. And He has all the power needed to do this—forever! Amen.  1 Peter 5:8-11 TPT

Whoa! Hallelujah! When you receive His Word, He will direct your path. God will order your steps and lead your life. Choose to bow to His Word. Let Jesus’ promises lead you and comfort you in times of distress. 

Let His Word regulate your actions in times of trouble. Choose to surrender to His Will. He is our source of rest, rejuvenation. Again, read the Bible. Start at page one and read. Let God lead the way. 

Psalms 68:7-10 NET O God, when You lead Your people into battle, when You march through the desert, the earth shakes, yes, the heavens pour down rain before God..... O God, You cause abundant showers to fall on Your chosen people. When they are tired, You sustain them, for You live among them. You sustain the oppressed with Your good blessings, O God.

And so my friends, let us find true rest in Jesus. Our shelter. Our Deliverer. No matter what storm we face, He can deliver us. There is nothing stronger than Him. There is nothing bigger than Him. There is no bondage that He cannot set us free from. 

There is liberty in Christ. There is complete deliverance in Him. There is no stronghold that will overthrow Him. All principalities bow to His Name. Yes God, at the Name of Jesus Christ every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord.
