And I pray this, that your love may abound even more and more in knowledge and every kind of insight so that you can decide what is best, and thus be sincere and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-11 NET

And so we must worship now in light of God’s future, in ways that are intelligible and helpful to all. Jesus Christ loves each of us who know Him as our Lord and Saviour.

He has always welcomed us, seeking salvation, just as much as ever He did while walking the earth.

When we use simplicity and praise, adoration and love in our worship, we are able to clearly hear the voice of Him. Amazing grace!

Our worship, filled with admiration and surrender, should also have such beauty and weight that it captures the hearts of the emerging generations.

By His blood, Christ has brought us all the way behind the curtain and into a new and blessed way of life and worship before the face of God. Because new covenant worship takes place in heaven, it is spiritual and regenerative in its very nature.

Our worship should be marked by God’s vibrancy and promises. With confidence we can draw near the throne of grace, asking Jesus’ help in this great time of need — help to create harmony between all of His followers that captures all ages; help to share Christ in ways that speak to circumstances; help to offer a hope that gives souls opportunities to sing, write, speak, pray with a full range of emotion, from wailing lament to uninhibited joy filled praise.

Oh my friends, thank you for joining us here, welcome to a new day.  This is the day that the Lord has made, and this is the day we will praise Jesus.

What an easy thing it is- because He is so worthy.  We praise Him for His teaching, His power, His presence, His wisdom, His ultimate sacrifice, and a million other things that spring forth from inside us like a never-ending fountain.

Praise Him for all the things that are personal to you and Jesus.  When you first decided to follow Jesus so many things came into focus.  He went from “a savior” to “your savior.”

He fights the battle with us.  He picks us up in times of despair.  He carries us to victory.  He sits beside us in failures. He talks us out of acting on our temptations.

One day we will walk up to Jesus in heaven, and like me, these are the things that bring tears to your eyes and a smile to your face.

Today, and always, we praise our Saviour.
