Think of Him who endured such opposition against Himself by sinners, so that you may not grow weary in your souls and give up.  Hebrews 12:3 NET

Isn't it amazing, humbling, even bewildering to reflect on the fact that not even our darkest day can dim the light of God’s enabling, sustaining, and unchanging grace.

Our lives are littered with problems, pressures, and pains. They are also scarred with sin that, to our frustration and disgust, “clings so closely”

We can sometimes feel that we have taken two steps backward for every one step forward. There can even be times when we wonder whether our assurance of salvation is nothing more than wishful thinking.

Yet however low we sink, we can, without doubt, rely on God’s promises. Spoken, declared, over His children.

Deuteronomy 33:26-27 NET  There is no one like God, who rides through the sky to help you, on the clouds in majesty. The everlasting God is a refuge, and underneath you are His eternal arms.

Our everyday life regularly provides opportunities for us to reflect on the Lord’s teachings on suffering and endurance.

Forgiveness and faith.
