So we must not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 NET
We won’t find perfection today, but one day we will pass to our forever home—which Christ is preparing—and it will be here that we will find completion. We will walk, free from sin, in the fullness of who God originally created us to be. Standing straight, no broken bones, no debilitating diseases. No dark blotches on our hearts.
And although you may want to give up today, remember that perseverance will truly lead to a better version of yourself that resembles Christ more and more over time.
We encourage you, read the Bible. Seek Jesus Christ, He is patient, He is waiting for each of us.
When we speak life using the Words of the Lord, we are not speaking from our own authority. We are speaking directly from the authority of God. His Word travels through us, unto the world. We are merely the messenger, He is the author. Pause and rethink what you were about to say when the waiter got your order wrong. Use words to explain, words to enourage, with understanding, speak life.
And just because we are not speaking death, as in negative, bitter, hurtful words, doesn’t mean that we are in fact speaking life. When we measure our words, asking Holy Spirit for wisdom for the circumstance, He will provide.
Because speaking life isn’t only for our “self”, like a pep talk to build our own confidence, speaking life can be the song that encourages someone to seek Jesus, to ask for help, to dust off their knees after tripping over mistakes.
Speaking God’s life can positively affect all who are around us. When we make it known what we set out to do, within God’s will, and with a certainty given by Holy Spirit, people take notice.
When we believe in the Gospel enough to speak it out to the world, those who may not yet know Jesus will take interest in His provision.
