Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you’ve doubted your ability? Maybe you’re a mother or father struggling with the challenges of parenting. Maybe you own a business and often wonder whether you’re making the right decisions. Maybe you work in an industry where you worry that your best effort just isn’t good enough. You are good enough. We all ar good enough.

What God gives us with His unconditional love is the assurance of our worth as His sons and daughters.  Yes, we all need to learn, grow, improve certain behaviours and remove other ones, but we are enough.  

Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 NET

In the midst of turbulent times have you ever received a word of encouragement from your spouse, boss or fellow employee that uplifted your spirits and encouraged you to keep going? 

Perhaps you have been the one to encourage someone else during difficult times. 

As a neighbourhood, community, of people who love Jesus and love people, we need to be encouragers. That means (note to self) when we read or hear a news update, let’s not immediately discuss all aspects of the topic.  God gave us this time in life to walk alongside one another. With the joy f the Lord. The wisdom of Holy Spirit. Thank You Jesus!

And we all know that life throws many highway detours and road closures at us, so never underestimate the power of an encouraging text message, email, phone call or conversation. As we encourage one another, our spirits are uplifted, and we shine the light and love of Jesus.
