For there is no distinction between any, for the same Lord is Lord of all, who richly blesses all who call on Him. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.  Romans 10:12-13 NET

During my journey to freedom I had to face the fact that one of my greatest obstacles was that I did not see myself the way the Lord sees me, in fact I did not believe that calling out to God in the name if Jesus would be available to me! Me, a sinner with a personal encyclopedia full of past mistakes, failures, grief and terrible choices.

But Holy Spirit came alongside me. When I was saved, I really uncovered the missing piece of life’s puzzle—Jesus Christ. And when I did look up from the dark, and spoke the name Jesus, He reached down for my hand and took it!

God has always loved us, and still does. He accepts you and me, and the guy at the gas station under the grace of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus.

We’ll continue to exempt ourselves from the promises He gives us until we learn how to receive God’s unconditional love for ourselves. {tweetme}We don’t love ourselves because we are good. We can love and accept ourselves because He is good, and we are His creation. {/tweetme}

If God loves you, you are worth loving. What other confirmation do you need? He says to love our neighbor as we love ourselves, but how do we expect to obey those words if we don’t even love ourselves? Call on Jesus Christ, He who is love, for He truly answers us.

It requires faith to believe in the power of Jesus' name.
