He Hears Us

If you love Me, you will obey My commandments. Then I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever – the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, because He resides with you and will be in you.  John 14:15-17 NET

Maybe too often in our busyness we miss this, but God wants to speak to us. Did you catch that? He wants to speak to you and me, to the guy next to us at the stoplight or the waitress at the local restaurant. and just as He built you to hear His voice so He built all of mankind to hear it too.

{tweetme}We may not choose to ever seek God or listen to Holy Spirit because He doesn’t force us to. He doesn’t usually speak out loud, but His voice comes from inside of us. {/tweetme}

It takes practice to learn how to separate our own thoughts from His voice, and different people hear Him in different ways.  But be comforted in the knowledge God hears us all, all nations, cultures, languages, people.
