Gather yourselves together, yes, gather, O nation without shame, Before the decree takes effect— The day passes like the chaff— Before the burning anger of the Lord comes upon you, Before the day of the Lord’s anger comes upon you. Seek the Lord, All you humble of the earth Who have carried out His ordinances; Seek righteousness, seek humility. Perhaps you will be hidden In the day of the Lord’s anger. Zephaniah 2:1-3 NASB
Have you met Jesus Christ? He is amazing grace! He is all that is all that was all that will be! Choose to accept the risen king Jesus as your saviour, and when you do (or already have) welcome to the rest of your journey putting Jesus Christ first, over everything and everyone, living a life of service to the king of kings.
I don’t know if you have ever thought about this or seriously asked yourself this question, but who do you really think God is? I mean, deep down in your heart, who is God to you? This question is actually really important because so many things in our daily journey are determined by our answer to it. One of the greatest things we can believe by faith is that we are known by God and that He wants to be known by us! He invites you to get to know Him for yourself, by experience, based on what He says about Himself in the Bible.
In Matthew 16, Jesus asked His disciples a similar question: “Who do people say that I am?”
I know who the Bible says God is and that who He is doesn’t change, but who the Lord is to each of us, to you will determine the way we live, the way we pray and the decisions we make.
Jesus doesn't need people to believe in Him so He can feel good about Himself. He is God. He knows exactly who He is. But who we know Him to be determines the way that we receive Him and in turn celebrate His glorious light in the fave of a darkening era.
Who is the Triune God? Who is God Jesus Christ Holy Spirit? I can’t afford for my understanding or perception of Him to be based off someone else’s stories or things I’ve just heard about the Lord. No my friends, we need wisdom, knowledge and understanding to come out of what Holy Spirit reveals in the Word of God.
Read the Bible - prayerfully ask Holy Spirit to teach the truth of who God is so that you can come to know Him for yourself. Check out further reading:

The Bible teaches us that we are created by God, we belong to God. When Jesus Christ died for His people on that cross it wasn’t just a demonstration of His love, it was a powerful transaction that took place. He was paying for humanity with His blood, ‘buying back’ mans freedom from the prison of sin, so that we could remain with God.
God made us and Jesus paid for us, but you and I still need to make the personal decision to give ourselves to Him. That’s a big part of what a daily life of worship looks like - giving yourself to God.
Psalms 43:1-4 NASB Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation; O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man! For You are the God of my strength; why have You rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your dwelling places. Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And upon the lyre I shall praise You, O God, my God.
A human tragedy is that people in God’s created world are becoming consumed with their rights, their identity, their future and everything that matters to them. But the Bible shows us that those who belong to Jesus actually make the decision to give up living for those things so that we can make our life all about Him. In other words, we don’t just invite Jesus to be our Saviour, but to be the ‘Lord’ of our lives too. He is control. I belong to Him! So does my past, my present, my future, my body and all of my decisions. And because I belong to God, I get my identity, value and purpose from my relationship with Jesus Christ.
