Indeed, My plans are not like your plans, and My deeds are not like your deeds, for just as the sky is higher than the earth, so My deeds are superior to your deeds and My plans superior to your plans. The rain and snow fall from the sky and do not return, but instead water the earth and make it produce and yield crops, and provide seed for the planter and food for those who must eat. In the same way, the promise that I make does not return to Me, having accomplished nothing. No, it is realized as I desire and is fulfilled as I intend.  Isaiah 55:8-11 NET

This verse clearly states, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

Pray with declarations, what you are expecting from God no matter how it looks right now. So, whatever you are expecting to turn around put the words into His hands. Declare dead situations have now risen. Know death and life are in the power of the tongue. Begin to read and recite scriptures that relate to your situation daily.

True prayer is an honest encounter with our living God. We’re not performing—for Him or anyone else. We are talking . . . and listening... having a conversation WITH God.

Sit in silence for several minutes, focusing on God, not on you. Yes, it’s hard to be quiet, but this is not about how good we are at meditation. We are not trying to succeed at devotions. We are just opening our hearts to God who is waiting and available every single time

And through prayer, God is continuing His good work in us, growing us, transforming us, helping us conform to the image of Jesus.
