If I shut the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the grasshopper to consume the land, or if I send pestilence on My people, and My people, who bear My name, humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. My eyes will now be open and My ears attentive to prayer from this place. 2 Chronicles 7:13-15 CSB
We are visitors in a world that is that is becoming more and more defined by sex, greed, politics and a person’s identity is all too often shaped and lead by what is moment by moment being redefined by and for those who have no love for Jesus the Christ.
They are false teachers that do not lead us to the ultimate satisfaction in Jesus, but leave us empty and always wanting more while at the same time blinded from the One who is our source.
God can and will deliver us. He protects us. If we look to Him and trust Him He will reveal the deceptions to us. We will be able to discern what is truly of Him and cast aside the bate the enemy is trying to feed us.
2 Peter 3:17-18 NASB As for you, divinely loved ones, since you are forewarned of these things, be careful that you are not led astray by the error of the lawless and lose your firm grip on the truth. But continue to grow and increase in God’s grace and intimacy with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May He receive all the glory both now and until the day eternity begins. Amen!
What does our everyday life look like? Does it look like the false teachers and prophets of social media, news media, evil redefining of God’s creation, (in His image man and women) or does our walk look like we are His disciples, the disciples who walked with Jesus -not perfect by any means but faithful, constantly coming back to God with our sin, repenting hearts, prayer conversations and trust in His provision and promises?
Wow! Thank You God!
Cling to the truth of God’s Word! Don’t be fooled by false teachings! Jesus’ return is imminent! it may be sounding repetitive, but it’s because we constantly need the reminders and warnings. I have made the same mistake many times, so obviously I need to be reminded not to do that over and over and over again. We have a choice though. We can let the enemy numb us to Holy Spirit’s teachings throughout the Bible and ignore Him, or we can allow His word to wake us up to the truth that is being shared page by page.
