Life’s Answer

Why are the nations in an uproar and the peoples devising a vain thing? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against His anointed, saying, “Let us tear their fetters apart and cast away their cords from us!” He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them. Then He will speak to them in His anger and terrify them in His fury, saying, “But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.” “I will surely tell of the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, ‘Jesus, You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.’ ” Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; Take warning, O judges of the earth. Worship the Lord with reverence And rejoice with trembling. Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!”  Psalms 2:1-12 NASB

In these days of seething chaos and warning alarms Jesus Christ continuously speaks and we GET to hear Him. Guys take note of that and hold it close! Satan’s goal is kill, to kidnap God’s people, deceive us, lure mankind into it’s world of eternal damnation. The enemy offers us lies in hopes that we will be ok selling our inheritance for sin.  It is going to try and sneak lies into our lives wrapped up in all sorts of confusion, mixing in scripture taken out of context, using words that sound right, with its plot to draw us away from the truth of God’s Word and keep our eyes off of Jesus, the conquering King of kings.   

But we do not have to fear the enemy's trickery! Choose to be in conversation with God, to be in prayer with Him.  Gaining discernment is a huge reason to read the Bible every day! So seek and listen to Holy Spirit’s wisdom, correction and guidance, receive the Lord’s covering, His armour of protection from the enemies bombardment of twisted words and whispered lies. We are more than conquerors, we stand victorious because of Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 

In 2 Peter God is warning us about false teachers. He is warning us of the dangers of following those who may say they have the truth, but in fact they do not know the truth. 

What they claim prophetically and what they teach is not leading us closer to Jesus, but further away from Him. 

The Lord’s teachings are as relevant now as they have been every day for thousands of years -  He is reconciling humanity to its original place in creation, offering salvation for all who believe by faith in Jesus Christ,  HALLELUJAH! 

We must heed Holy Spirit.  He will remind us to give all glory all honor all praise all worship to God, He will warn us to be thoughtful and wise about who we follow and who we are listening to and what we allow into our daily thoughts and activities in order to guide our life's journey in Gods kingdom here on His created earth. 

Wow! so true! Do we choose to listen for the voice ofGod Jesus Christ Holy Spirit or do we choose to hear the whisper of satan. This choice impacts each of our lives. Our lives are all listening and following someone. It's not always a named person in our life that is a false teacher. It is more likely to be something in this culture that is lying to us and leading us to slavery. Things like TV shows with a form of humour so often accepted by viewers but is actually cruel and belittling, movies that are action packed but have no consideration for the value of human life…. 

My friend place yourself at the foot of the cross, declare and know Jesus Christ as your risen Saviour! He who was crucified for all of mankind’s sin, conquered death and rose again! Jesus Christ is the only way, the answer to disease to crime, to hate, to fear, to life eternal - Choose accept God’s invitation of rescue, seek Him! His redemption draws near! Yes Lord Jesus!
