Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 14:27 NASB
Take a deep breath, in the quiet or noise of where you are at right now and step into Easter remembering what God says about you, His beloved child, and take captive any thought that doesn’t align with His Word. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken His love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s redeeming hand. Mankind is given the gift of choice, choose to repent of the things that grueve Holy Spirit, prayerfully read the Bible seeking for correction, understanding and help to let go of the sin that has you pinned down.
Romans 8:38-39 NASB So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that His love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens.
My friends, receive Jesus as your Saviour, acknowledge that He is the risen King, welcome God’s love and mercy which are lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!
God Himself does not gloat over the fate of the wicked He teaches in (Ezekiel 33:11 NASB say to them, ‘As I live!’ declares the Lord God, ‘I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways!)
2 Corinthians 5:14-15 NASB For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.
Our Lord will return like a thief when we least expect Him. Never surrender to panic or despair. Be vigilant. Be prepared. Be faithful.
God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9 NASB The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance).
And though God loves His creation He will not overrule our free will. If we choose judgment, then judgment it shall be. If we choose to follow Jesus, we choose eternity. No one has to suffer eternal separation from God. The victory over sin and death has already been won. Jesus Christ has paid the price of our redemption -- and He will triumph over Satan.
When the Lord of heaven and earth returns, will we be ready?
