But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.  Galatians 5:22-26 NASB

Life will not always go smoothly, but we will always have God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit with us. Holy Spirit empowers His people to live a life that is pleasing to God and reflects Jesus no matter the difficulties we face.

Oh, and you know those moments when you have so many feelings but don’t know what to say, keep in your heart Holy Spirit’s promise to help us in our weak moments, turning our cries into prayers. Just imagine the moment After Jesus was raised from the dead, when His distraught disciples were huddled inside a house with the doors shut, and Jesus appeared to them! 

I have learned to especially appreciate the presence of Holy Spirit in my heart, my life, He is indeed the Helper when I go through difficult times of trial, discouragement, or struggle. Holy Spirit sustains me with supernatural strength and hope. When I experience grief, Holy Spirit encourages me; when I step out of line ignoring God’s will, Holy Spirit checks my step and turns my feet towards Jesus, when I am mistreated or persecuted, He gives me miraculous grace to endure; when I am accused or misunderstood, He fights my battle for me; when I make a mistake and want to bury myself, He again lifts my head and mixes gentle correction with wisdom; when I am in confusion, He reminds me of God’s promises. And He is here for all!  Amazing grace! 

1 Corinthians 3:16 NASB Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 

When Holy Spirit came upon the disciples in the Upper Room on the Day of Pentecost, He was manifested in primarily two ways: (1) the sound of a rushing wind and (2) flames of fire that miraculously appeared on each person’s head. 

So let’s ask ourselves, are we willing to allow God to purify with Holy fire, even in hidden areas? 

We know how to mask our ugliest attitudes. But when Holy Spirit comes in power, He comes to clean us of our grit, ashes and grime.  Behold, He will make all things new, in His time!!

He moves the brick walls around our lives in order to cleanse us of resentment, anger, shame, addictive behavior, and so many other things that can create distance between us and God. 

And that thorough cleaning by God is actually one of the most freeing, experiences you will ever have! My friends, we encourage you to open your hearts to Holy Spirit’s fire. Be Renewed, revived, rescued. All by the grace of our magnificent, God. 

God created us to live life on His created earth the way He intended. You are unique. You are essential. You are His child, His creation. You are beautiful in His sight. Yes, you. You are a bearer of the fruit of Holy Spirit! Bear fruit for God!
