Swallowed Up

You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.  2 Peter 3:17-18 NASB

What a timely verse ! We read it this week and have been contemplating it 🙏🏻 Holy Spirit gives us the wisdom to choose to sit at the feet of Jesus. 

We turn our eyes to Jesus, we sing His praises and we are grateful for His forgiveness and we see the grace He has poured over our steps and over others. 

My dear friends, today we earnestly pray that you find one space where God's clear voice cuts through the noise in your life.  When we remember that Jesus is our Why and our Who, distractions fall away, competing priorities become clear, and faith grows roots so deep and strong within. 

Christ has been raised. Day no longer fades to black, but night is awakening to the brightness. Darkness is not suffocating the light, but the sun is chasing away the shadows. Sin is not winning, instead death is swallowed up in victory. 

Make Jesus Christ your PERSONAL Lord and Saviour - we have personal fears and traumas WE HAVE A PERSONAL GOD - because Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour over and above all of creation whether we say He is or not - but when we receive Him as our personal Saviour we turn to God to save us not sin - we go to Jesus to save us - not despondency - we turn to Jesus to deliver us  Jesus to speak to us ! we get to go to Jesus !

Jesus Christ is not a formula in a history book HE IS God Almighty - He is not a theory in our mind -Jesus is the risen Christ, with the brilliance of indestructible life in His eyes, teaching, “These too I will swallow up in victory. These too will serve your joy. These too, even these, I soon will make an occasion for your everlasting glory. I have overcome, and those who are with me are more than conquerors.” 

Jesus is alive. And we get to go to Him.
