Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.  Proverbs 16:3 NIV

Go to Jesus before anyone or anything else. Let Christ establish your plans. Let Christ lead you. Let His Word guide your life. “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3 NLT. Commit to Christ. Let Christ rule every area of your heart, life, and business. Let Christ give you witty ideas. Let Christ fill you with His Wisdom.

For Wisdom comes from God. Leadership comes from God. Let Christ, the Author of all things lead your life. Let His Word fill your heart. Commit your ways to God—the Author and Finisher of your life and Destiny. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, say this simple prayer: God, I thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ.  I believe that He died and conquering death rose again. Yes God, in the Name of Jesus, I repent of my sin and I turn to You.  I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.  In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Let’s refine the habit of asking Holy Spirit to teach us how to commit the work of our hands unto the Lord and let Christ really lead our hearts. Before we accept that new job offer, let Christ lead our thoughts and then our actions. Let Christ design the plans. And then trust that by His timing and with His merciful love- God will provide the process.

2 Peter 3:8-9 NASB But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

We get to read a reminder in 2 Peter…. “One day is like a thousand years…”

These verses often serve as a personal reminder to increase my patience - with myself and others - to calm my pace and not get hung up on what I thought should be doing.

But recently, I’ve been reading the following phrase with fresh eyes.

“A thousand years is like one day…”

Full stop. Let’s pause there for a moment.

“A thousand years…”

“Is like one day…”

Whoa. Holy Spirit teaches us, all it takes is one moment. One moment for God to breathe into a situation. One moment for us to stop and honor Him. One moment to pursue His heart, listen to His voice and reframe a persepective.

So today, wherever you are treading water, or effortlessly floating, keep going. All of those moments matter in our journey - and remember this Truth: the Lord’s moment matters the most.

Don’t be surprised when the sunrise cuts through, the call comes, and the resources free up. Be ready for it. Be filled with faith and hope, the joy of the Lord!

Think of it like this, God of all creation is always creating.  Creating us from our first newborn breath. Creating the fields and gardens that feed us, creating the wind that Carrie’s weather, creating a path for the salvation journey to eternity with Him - freely offered when we go to Jesus instead of the sin that cannot fill us.

He is our Strength. He wove every fibre into existence. It is so so vital to keep our eyes on Jesus. Whenever we are struggling with difficulties, we need to guard our thoughts and spoken words carefully.  As soon as you realize what is happening, stop immediately and turn to God.  Holy Spirit is waiting, He offers us His peace offering “Turn to Me, asking Me to help you with all your struggles”.

Keep the Bible near at hand so that at any moment you can read God’s living word. When we focus too much on all the things that are wrong, we will become increasingly discouraged—and our strength will be sapped.
