Indeed You Were Called

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.  Colossians 3:15-17 NASB 

We get  to live this way, characterized by all of these traits that Holy Spirit freely gives when we turn to Jesus Christ, our risen Saviour, because of Jesus we can live this way and we must live this way. no excuse. Depend on Holy Spirit’s power to obey God, and live out the story that He has written - take a stand for God, do so with boldness and compassion!  

No matter how difficult the situation is, don’t let fear be the guide.  Instead, turn to Jesus, take His hand, and ask for the words to speak, to share the Gospel, to share with compassion, empathy, with wisdom, boldness, share our stories of how Jesus saved us from eternal suffering, how He invited us to join Him in eternity when we surrendered our lives at the foot of the cross.
