Rest Securely

My prayers for you are full of praise to God as I give Him thanks for you with great joy! I’m so grateful for our union and our enduring partnership that began the first time I presented to you the Gospel.  Philippians 1:3-5 TPT

God, we thank You that in our times of deep distress and suffering You are near, that You have gently brought other people alongside us, to walk with us through the different seasons of our life, to comfort and encourage, to help and to advise. Thank You for all those whom You draw near to us, so that we may be Your hands to help, Your arms to support and Your heart to love. Yes Lord, we trust You we need You! Jesus, we pray for Your grace and power to stand firm in faith today, thank You for guiding us through the maze of struggles and celebrations- yes Lord, we need You - Holy Spirit thank You - by Your wisdom we hold the ground You have won for us. Keep us we pray, from being overwhelmed by the raging of the world and the tempestuous storms of life, and help us at all times to abide in Your love and to cast all our problems and cares upon You.  Thank You, that You have overcome the world and that we can rest securely in You, knowing we have not been given the spirit of fear but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. May Your name be glorified in our life!  O God, in knowing Your will, we are encouraged to press through all opposition, so that Your will might be fulfilled through us.  Help us, we pray, to stop excusing attitudes and actions. We alone are responsible for what we do each day.  We commit to You God, We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray joy, we pray deliverance, we pray reconciliation, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
