For God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control.  2 Timothy 1:7 NET

Thank you, God, for not giving us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and self-discipline. In Your name, Jesus, we ask You to remove the power of fear, pain, and shame in our lives. Help us not be tangled up in them but to break through to the true freedom found in the faith, hope, and the perfect love You have given us.  God, we don’t know how all this turns out. This life, this season, but You do. We pray as we choose to obey You, that You will increase our faith and trust in You, teach us to simply be in Your presence. In Isaiah 55, You say, "My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts," so Heavenly Father give us strength to trust in Your plans and say "yes" to You, even when it is difficult. From every little thing we do, to every big decision that we make, would it be according to Your word so that You may be glorified in our lives.  Come close and make each of us aware of Your guiding hand. Open the eyes of our hearts to what You would have us see. Give us the courage to trust in Your goodness. Holy Spirit, teach us what it means to live like Jesus, and maintain the attitude of openness to the people You bring into our lives to fellowship with. Thank You for being our greatest example of this. Help us to cling to God, the One that never changes, and to endure the seasons of lack and plenty that we encounter. Through it all, thank You that we are Your children and not alone in this journey.   We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray deliverance, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen
