Follow His Example

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.  John 1:14 NET

God, oh God, we are humbled and grateful. Thank You that Jesus Christ is our worthy example as well as being our Redeemer and Saviour. And because Jesus is now the Lord of our lives, we pray that we may seek to live as He did;

 A life that is led by the Spirit.

 A life that walks in forgiveness and grace.

A life that seeks to do Your will.

A life that waits in patient expectation on You.

For to You, Lord of heaven and earth, belongs all power and wisdom and majesty and strength, and without You we can do nothing. Help us to follow the example of Jesus Christ in our households, communities, churches and workplaces. We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray deliverance, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
