In The Sight

My son, do not forget My teaching, but let your heart keep My commandments; For length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your body And refreshment to your bones.  Proverbs 3:1-8 NASB

God, we love You, we rely on You. Thank You for teaching us that the resurrection of Jesus Christ and of His ability to change the lives of those who believe in Him is for all who know Him as our risen Sabiour. We don’t know all that Jesus will ask of us as we follow Him, Lord show us the goodness, protection and joy that come from letting go of recognition and applause. We surrender our lives to You,  denying gods of greed, lust and power, laying down our very lives at the foot of Your cross. Heavenly Father we trust in Your promises, the sacrifices You ask will be worth it. And Jesus Himself will commend us. We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray deliverance, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
