Draw Us Close

Now on the topic of brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another. And indeed you are practicing it toward all the brothers and sisters in all of Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more, to aspire to lead a quiet life, to attend to your own business, and to work with your hands, as we commanded you. In this way you will live a decent life before outsiders and not be in need.  1 Thessalonians 4:9-12 NET

Holy Spirit thank You for giving us the willingness to joyfully serve You and provide for our families. Help us to be good stewards of the many blessings in our lives. Guide us in all decisions, and develop our skills as we continues to work for Your kingdom. When we encounter failure, help us to see Your grace. When we makes mistakes, draw us close with Your kindness and forgiveness. Yes, thank You God for pouring Your wisdom, correction, encouragement into each of us. Help us to look for ways to bless others with our time and resources!  Yes Lord! And we ask that You protect each of us from harm. Surround us, lift us up, and keep our eyes on You each day. God we are nothing without You. Help us to excel and enjoy the success that comes from hard work, without overdoing things. Help us to balance time between work, volunteer duties, spending time with family, and most of all seeking You. We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray deliverance, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
