Surrounded

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, we must get rid of every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and run with endurance the race set out for us, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set out for Him He endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of God.  Hebrews 12:1-2 NET

God, help us be completely open and honest with You as we come, humbly, in prayer, trusting You will reveal to us where we stand. We seek Your will over our lives and ask that where we have stepped outside of the place of Your covering because of willful sin, cause us to courageously repent, then lovingly correct and reset our position.

Where we have unknowingly veered from You, bring us back.  Lord, give us the courage to rise up and get back into the place of Your dwelling and place of calling for our lives. Where we have never heard You within expand our desire to understand and know You! Where people are living without this hope that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior we pray they come to the knowledge via Your faithful people who live courageously for Christ, demonstrating the firm foundation found in living life for You, our Rock and place of sure footing. Thank You Jesus! We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray deliverance, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
