Surrendered

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such as great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Hebrews 12:1-2 NET

God, thank You for grace and forgiveness, so freely given by You. As we get busy and don’t intentionally take time to be with You, we can feel a darkness settle over us in the form of worry, anxiety, self-pity, a complaining spirit or even sin. Lord, forgive us, forgiveme, I am sorry for the times we have ignored You. You are walking with us each day and we acknowledge Your Holy presence. Surrendered in prayer to You, we pray hope, we pray healing, we pray deliverance, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
