Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.  Philippians 4:4-6 NASB

In a couple of months, God willing, we will celebrate the good news of Jesus’ birth and the power of His presence during the Advent and Christmas season. Our joy isn’t dependent on what is going on in our life, in our world, or the people that we are hanging out with. It doesn’t depend on the presents we give or receive. No earthly thing can ever bring us peace. Our everlasting joy comes from the Lord, His presence overwhelms our hearts with rejoicing.

Thank You God, thank You for mercy that keeps us breathing, thank You for carrying home Your wounded and brutalized people,   Thank You for calling to action on those who know You and acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Saviour.  Amazing grace! Yes Lord, how we need You!  We praise You God!  May we be courageous Holy Spirit and receive Your wisdom, correction, encouragement and understanding, forgive us for thinking security comes from our relationships, our finances. Yes Lord, thank You for the gift of Faith, we trust You  We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray joy, we pray deliverance, we pray reconciliation, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
