“O clap your hands, all peoples; Shout to God with the voice of joy. For the Lord Most High is to be feared, A great King over all the earth. He subdues peoples under us And nations under our feet. He chooses our inheritance for us, The glory of Jacob whom He loves. Selah. God has ascended with a shout, The Lord, with the sound of a trumpet. Sing praises to God, sing praises; Sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with a skillful psalm. God reigns over the nations, God sits on His holy throne.” Psalms 47:1-8 NASB
This week, seek to increase your time in worship. Set aside moments to sing, pray, meditate on God's Word, and reflect on His goodness. Approach worship with a heart of gratitude, allowing it to overflow into every aspect of your life. Let your worship be an offering of love and surrender, as you draw near to God and find peace in His presence.
God, we come before You today with a heart full of gratitude and a desire to worship You in spirit and truth. Help me to enter Your presence with thanksgiving and praise. May my worship be a genuine expression of love and surrender. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for being with me and opening my heart and mind to your truth. I surrender to You today all the thoughts and questions that I am wrestling with. I ask that You help me to have the mind of Christ and see from your perspective. God, may we never boast in our own strength or in our own abilities. It is the cross of Jesus Christ that has made our lives possible – it is in His strength that we have found our own personal victories. Anything good we have is a gift coming down from You, Lord, out of Your heart of mercy through Christ crucified. We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray joy, we pray deliverance, we pray reconciliation, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
