The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.  Psalms 23:1-6 NASB

May we receive the conviction that the Christian life is not settling for comfort and ease but is finding delight in walking out God’s wise plan for our lives and humbly allowing Him to direct us in it.  May we may consistently display our gratitude for EVERYcircumstance so that, in the end, God will be glorified in our daily life, and we will continue with joy, we will be a source of inspiration to others who, noticing faith and hope in us, will seek the Savior, through whom alone they can have salvation. May we, with the help of Holy Spirit, focus on what matters most in this time of shifting worlds by loving and serving Jesus and others.  May others show us God’s love and God’s constant presence when we need it as well.  And may we hold on to Jesus, our rock in a weary land, our shelter in a time of storm.

God, thank You for these moments together. You know our needs, our heart’s truth. We pray You protect those who are putting their faith in Jesus Christ for the first time, we pray for Your true word to be taught and spoken into their lives, we pray for protection over all baptism locations, may your warring angels surround each brother and sister in Christ as they publicly declare their allegiance to You, Christ our king, thank You Lord, we commit to giving You space to work within us, we offer You our focus and accept Your equipping…. Humbled and grateful, we depend on You Holy Spirit, we desire to live and love in a way that’s both pleasing to You and restful for us, Lord You are more than enough for whatever season or space we are in.  Hallelujah! Such grace! We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray deliverance, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
