For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:5-6 NASB
God, thank You for this time together, we humbly ask for the preparation that Advent brings to receive what Christmas represents. Yes Lord, The coming of You, our King. We pray for the wisdom to consider the true meaning of Christmas. Help us remember that the pleasures of the world are snares. Holy Spirit, will You come, will you please sit with us and help us to wait on You, to seek You, oh God we are captured by Your Love that sent Your only Son into the world so we could have abundant life now and forever. We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray joy, we pray deliverance, we pray reconciliation, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
