I kept looking until thrones were set up, and the Ancient of Days took His seat; His vesture was like white snow And the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze with flames, Its wheels were a burning fire. A river of fire was flowing And coming out from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; The court sat, And the books were opened. Lord, forgive us when we perform for the idol of tradition. A sacrifice given to satisfy human expectations will never please You. Expand our view of You, God. Help us to remember that You, the Holy God of the Universe, are worthy of both humble reverence and exuberant praise. May we treat Your courts with the respect they deserve and honor Your grace with the freedom You have granted us. We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray joy, we pray deliverance, we pray reconciliation, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
