Thankfulness

Therefore, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him and firm in your faith just as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.  Colossians 2:6-7 NET

God, help us today to focus on the attitude of our hearts in the midst of our actions. Bless each ordinary moment as an opportunity to worship our extraordinary God. Lord, we pray for wisdom to see that You long for Your children to put You first, above all things, that as we are to give of our time, our care, our money, we can also scale back on our wants in a material world, we pray for Holy Spirit to join us in conversation of more of You and less of things.  God, thank You for each person in our lives, we lift up their needs and concerns in prayer to You. We pray that You, Lord Jesus, would do a mighty work in our hearts as we spend time with You praying, singing in worship, reading the Bible. Change us from the inside out through Your Word and grace.  We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray deliverance, we pray restoration, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
