The Depth

Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.  Hebrews 12:1-3 NASB

God, thank You for the depths of Your love, for the power of Your patience that responds with such lovingkindness in the face of our sins. Thank You Holy Spirit for walking with us, for reminding us of Your grace so that we don’t grow complacent. We thank You, yes Lord, for Jesus, who is at Your side and knows our hearts and struggles, we give You all the praise for Your sacrifice, who saved us. We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray joy, we pray deliverance, we pray reconciliation, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
