Then Jesus said to those who had believed Him, If you continue to follow My teaching, you are really My disciples and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.  John 8:31-32 NET

God, we come before You with an open heart, grateful for who You are and who we get to be because You love us. May our praise and worship be pleasing to You Lord, Let our thoughts be focused on You and our attitudes be humble in pursuit of Your truth. Lord, we cry out to you, our God and Redeemer, as the only one who can save us from ourselves. Show us our blind spots. Help us to see truth, even when it is uncomfortable. We want to know the truth that will set us free. Your truth. Jesus, you are so right. You have been patient, kind, and tolerant and we are grateful for your kindness toward us.  We pray that You, Lord, would empower us to demonstrate this same kindness in our friendships and daily encounters with co-workers, clients and all those You place on our path.  We pray hope, we pray healing, we pray joy, we pray deliverance, we pray reconciliation, we pray love, we pray rejoicing, we pray salvation, we pray revival, we pray forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
