Tomorrow is Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week which for reference begins one week before Easter Sunday, will you follow Jesus? the Gospels are a historical account and below are some notes of the 2026 timeline:

Palm Sunday: Sunday, March 29. Commemorates Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Luke 19:28-38

Holy Monday: Monday, March 30. Commemorates Jesus driving out merchants and money changers from the Temple in Jerusalem, stating it should be a "house of prayer" rather than a "den of thieves, Matthew 21:12-13

Holy Tuesday: Tuesday, March 31. Commemorates Jesus' final, intense teachings in Jerusalem and confrontations with religious leaders, highlighting His authority, the "woes" against hypocrisy, and parables regarding the end times. Mark 13:1-37

Holy Wednesday: Wednesday, April 1. commemorates Jesus being anointed by Mary of Bethany, marking the start of His burial preparation, the day also includes the Judas’ agreement with local authorities to betray Jesus Matthew 26:6-16

Holy Thursday: Thursday, April 2. commemorates the Last Supper, when Jesus shared His last meal with His disciples before being arrested John 13:1-20 and establishes the sacrament of communion. Matthew 26:26-29

Good Friday: Friday, April 3. Commemorates the greatest sacrifice ever made for humanity, the crucifixion, suffering, and sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, as He bore our penalty for sin, the day is marked by heaviness, quietly observed and deeply felt by those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ. John 19:16-30

Holy Saturday: Saturday, April 4. Silence. It was our sin and God’s plan that led Jesus to the cross 1 Corinthians 15:56 and it was His power and His authority that ruptured the darkness. Revelation 1:17-18

Resurrection Sunday: Sunday, April 5. We celebrate the risen Christ! He is Risen! Hallelujah! The Resurrection is recorded in the Holy Scriptures, Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24 and John 20
