True to His redemptive nature, God declares in 2 Chronicles 7 that if His people who are called by His name would humble themselves (as with sackcloth and ashes bearing an outward demonstration of our internal spiritual state) and pray and seek His face and turn from our wicked ways, then God will hear from heaven, He will forgive our sin and heal our land.
