Jesus will return quickly: Revelation 22:12 - If we are true followers of Christ the imminent return of our Lord and Saviour is our hope and comfort in a darkening world, we will stay true to Jesus, we will not turn away from God, we will not quench the Holy Spirit but instead prepare with anticipation. Knowing that Jesus will return at any moment should not make us slack in our witness or apathetic to holiness in our lives. It should encourage us to live for His glory. There will come a day, and soon, where we will stand before Him. Will you or won’t you accept Christ’s invitation of salvation? Will you be found with praise on your lips or despair in your heart.
