As a rush of wind, in those tongues of flame, the Holy Spirit came and filled the disciples fifty days after Easter and as a result, the early Church erupted and thousands came to know Christ as their Saviour through those historical days of the Spirit’s outpouring as God established His church. The Holy Spirit was with them and He is with us. the same Spirit who was present when the foundations of the earth were laid as recorded in the book of Genesis, the same Spirit by whom our Savior was conceived and written of in the book of Matthew, the same Holy Spirit that was with Jesus every day of His life on earth, that same Spirit spoken of in John 1 who came and made His dwelling place with the sons of men, you and me, arrived on Pentecost. Oh Lord we give You all the praise, all glory and honour to You Mighty God, thank You for Your Spirit.
